After a recent face lift the Fat Cat is rapidly re-establishing itself amongst the 'must visit' bars in Northampton. Found on the busy Bridge Street, the Fat Cat continues to set high standards for our comfortable relaxed atmosphere, great food and drink and of course our excellent customer service.

Offering live music, the best in local DJ's and full coverage of all major sporting events on our two large screens, we have something to offer whatever the occasion.

In preperation for the summer we have a brand new outside bar serving all your favourite drinks. Heated and seated the area is just as comfortable as being inside no matter what the Great British weather throws at us!

Food & Drink
During the day our award winning chef creates fresh daily specials using the finest ingredients to produce a dining experience of excellent quality. These are offered in addition to our new All Day menu that offers all the favourites, including our famous marinated chicken! Large parties can be catered for thanks to our relaxed diner area where you can enjoy a sophisticated three course meal.
If you want something a bit more relaxed why not have one of our large buffets that are ideal for large groups who just want to celebrate in a slightly more relaxed way. We are very much ‘can do’ at Fat Cat in our attitude towards our food. So if you would like your food slightly different to how it appears on
the menu or you have specific nutritional requirement please do not hesitate to ask your server
about variations.

Not only do we have a wide selection of beers and one of the biggest spirit ranges in town, we have an extensive wine menu drawing from all four corners of the globe to make sure that there's something for everyone's taste. And just in case that wasn't enough you could try one of our renowned cocktails to really get the night going. If it’s a bit early in the day for a French Martini, we have a selection of hot drinks that can be accompanied by one of our great puddings and cakes.

11am - 10pm Monday – Thursday,
11am - 8pm Friday and Saturday,
11am - 7pm Sunday.
Lunch menu served Monday to Friday from 11am - 5pm
Sunday Lunch served from 12-6pm

We are here to help every Saturday and Sunday at the Fat Cat Cafe Bar. Breakfasts are served all day with plenty of coffee, fresh juices, mocktails & smoothies. Plenty of newspapers & magazines - in the perfect surroundings to wind down or up...So whether you’re recovering from a night out or preparing for a party weekend - we have everything you’ll need!

Fat Cat Sunday Lunch - Sunday lunch at the Fat Cat - traditional & fresh.  Ask at the bar for the day’s selection & choices of seasonal vegetables. Why not treat yourself to a bottle of House Champagne with your Sunday Lunch for only £20 12noon-4pm every Sunday.

Cocktail Heaven - 2 for 1 cocktails every day from 5-8pm. Identical cocktails from our selected cocktails only.

The all new outside bar is now so popular that we have draught San Migual, Wine and can do all our usual cocktails. To make it even quicker to get served this bar is cash only; but if you want the more personal approach we have table service throughout so there's no need to cue at the bar at all - and to make it even easlier why not book in advance.

Ladies Night - Every Thursday is Ladies Night, a lavish two course meal and an exquisite cocktail for only £9.95 make Fat Cat the only place for a lady to be seen. After your meal enjoy two for one cocktails all evening and bottles of wine for £10...certainly a night not to be missed.

Saturday Night DJ's to dance the night away 9pm - 2am. Alternate Saturdays sees one of our three resident DJ's take over the music for a few hours as they bang out the biggest tunes from the dance music world. The last Friday of every month is Live Band Night - see in site for band details.

Catch all the important sporting events here - our screens show Sky Sports and Setanta Sports with all major sporting events including football, cricket, tennis and F1 Racing. All with fantastic table service so you don't miss any of the action.
