Located in the Chapel Quarter, Fat Cat is set over two floors. The ground floor has the main bar and informal dining with comfy sofas making it the perfect place to sit back and relax. The first floor accommodates a 60 seater restaurant offering the same menu as downstairs and Evening Specials just with a more formal service and views over the city. The outside seating area comes into its own in the summer where you can watch the world go by with the same great table service as inside.

Food & Drink
Food is available all day, seven days a week. Along side our all day menu, we have a lunch menu that changes monthly as well as chefs evening specials. All dishes are prepared to order from fresh ingredients. We are very much ‘can do’ at Fat Cat in our attitude towards our food. So if you would like your food slightly different to how it appears on the menu or you have specific nutritional requirement please do not hesitate to ask your server about variations.
The bar plays host to an extensive range of bottled and draught beers, wines from around the globe and stocks numerous spirits. We are renowned for the quality of our cocktails and produce an impressive list that changes with the seasons. If it’s a bit early in the day for a French Martini, we have a selection of hot drinks that can be accompanied by one of our great puddings and cakes.
All day menu served from 11am –10pm , 10am-10pm Saturday and Sunday
Lunch menu served Monday to Friday from 11am-5pm
Chefs Evening Specials served Wednesday - Saturday from 6pm
Sunday lunch served from 11am -7pm

We are here to help every Saturday and Sunday at the Fat Cat Cafe Bar. Breakfasts are served all day with plenty of coffee, fresh juices, mocktails & smoothies. Plenty of newspapers & magazines - in the perfect surroundings to wind down or up...So whether you’re recovering from a night out or preparing for a party weekend - we have everything you’ll need!

Finding Us
The Chapel Quarter is at the far end of the Market Square and at the top of Maid Marion Way. Busses stop at the Square and trams pass through from the railway station. If driving into the city follow signs for city center. There is a large NCP car park on Mount Street across from Chapel Quarter near Maid Marion Way.
